Product description of Zinc proteinate
Zinc proteinate is the final product resulting from the chelation
of zinc with amino acids and/or partially hydrolyzed proteins. It
is used as a nutritional animal feed supplement formulated to
prevent and/or correct zinc deficiency in animals. Zinc proteinate
can be used in place of zinc sulfate and zinc methionine.
Zinc is a component or activator of a variety of enzymes, which
plays an important role in
DNA synthesis, nucleic acid and protein metabolism, elimination of
carbon dioxide from the
blood, keratinization and calcification It improves humoral and
cellular immunity in animals.
The molecular structure of amino acid chelated zinc is closer to
the form of Zn in vivo
Organic chelated zinc can be freely absorbed by small intestinal
