Selenium is an essential trace element in living organisms and a
component of various enzymes, playing a role in resisting diseases
and enhancing immune function. The earliest selenium supplements
used in animal husbandry were inorganic selenium (mainly sodium
selenate and sodium selenite). The effective dose and toxic dose of
inorganic selenium are relatively close, with low safety and
biological activity. It has now been basically replaced by nano
selenium, which has high biological activity and is non-toxic.
Nano selenium has a wider dosage range in enhancing the antioxidant
and immune functions of animal bodies compared to organic selenium
such as sodium selenate and selenomethionine, and its immune
efficacy is higher than that of selenomethionine and sodium
selenite.
Precautions
This product cannot be directly fed to animals. It should be mixed
evenly into the formula feed and used up as soon as the packaging
